We thought that our guests traveling here in the next few months would like this handy-dandy guide on how to take advantage of Central Park in the winter:

For instance, the famed carousel is still open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. all winter long, weather permitting. Folks can play chess, checkers, Scrabble and Jenga at the Chess & Checkers House.
Or take the kiddies to see a show at the Swedish Cottage Marionette Theatre, one of the last public marionette companies in the country.
The park is the perfect place to go ice skating, sledding, cross-country skiing and snow-shoeing. (We’re supposed to have snow this weekend, so fingers crossed!)
Take a look at the guide above–maybe there’s a perfect activity for you!
