Snacks at the Bloody Mary Festival

Bloody Marys for All!

The Bloody Mary has a loyal following that would rival Bruce Springsteen’s fan club!

The latest varieties being created by mixologists with fresh local ingredients is giving this perennial favorite a new twist.

Wine and beer tastings seem to be happening every weekend in the city. But here’s an event of a different stripe: a Bloody Mary  Festival!

Get ready for the best brunch of your life at the Annual Bloody Mary Festival.

Details of the Event

For $55-$65, you’ll sample the most creative and delicious Bloody Marys from top mixologists all around the city for 2 1/2 hours.

15 restaurants will be competing to be your favorite version of this adult treat. Participating mixologists from Dos Caminos, Pok Pok Ny, Dirty Candy, Catfish, the Bloody Mary Liberation Party and last year’s winner, Lobster Joint will be competing for the top honor.

This year’s festivities are being held at The Grand Prospect Hall in Brooklyn, a short ride from the hotel on the B train.

Of course, there will be food!

You’ll find a Brooklyn bagel bar, cheese tables and tastings from over 20 food and beverage artisans, including Little Bird Kitchen, Les Trois Petit Cochons, Bespoke Bacon (bacon!) and My/Mo Mochi Ice Cream (ice cream!).

The 2018 event featured music was provided by The Blue Dahlia, a band featuring a ukelele player that sings in both French and English, which sounds pretty cool to us.

So here’s the deal.

There will be two sessions:

The first is from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and another from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Oh—and obviously, you must be 21+ to attend.

Have a great weekend, everyone!
