In the spring, summer and fall there are dozens of street fairs all around our fair city. Upper East Side, Upper West Side, Midtown…you name a neighborhood and you’ll find a fair.
Our own West Village and its sister hamlet in the East have a bunch coming up in the next few months. Snacks, rugs, discount sheets, jewelry, clothing, crafts and the ever-present cheap socks, every New Yorker’s favorite, are the norm. Here’s a pretty concise list of the East and West Village ones:

- Saturday, June 3, 2017 from 10 am – 6 pm. Village Fair & Expo – Along University Place between Waverly Place and 14th Streets in the Village NYC.
- Saturday & Sunday, June 3 – 4, 2017 from 12 noon to 6 pm – The Washington Square Outdoor Art Exhibitin the Village runs along University Place from Waverly [Washington Square North] to 13th Street [art exhibitors unique].*
- Saturday, June 10, 2017 from 10 am – 6 pm – 3rd Avenue Fare – Along 3rd Avenue between 6th Street & 14th Street in the Village neighborhood of Manhattan.
- Saturday, June 10, 2017 from 11 am [parade starts at 45th St & 5th Ave] until 7 pm – Parade ends at Washington Square Park where there’s a Festival of India entitled: Sri Jagannath Ratha Yatra.*
- Saturday, June 17, 2017 from 10 am – 6 pm – Bleeker Street MKT – Along Bleeker from Broadway to 6th Avenue in the West Village neighborhood of Manhattan.
- Saturday, June 24, 2017 from 10 am – 6 pm – BAMR Bleeker Street Festival – Along Bleeker from Christopher to 8th Avenue in the West Village neighborhood of Manhattan.
- Sunday, June 25, 2017 from 11 am – 6 pm – Gay PrideFest – Along Hudson St between Abingdon Square and West 14th Street in the West Village neighborhood of Manhattan.
