You’ve been to Taste of the Village, right? Well, Taste of Lower Manhattan is an evening tasting event that allows attendees to indulge in signature bites from the best of the best restaurants located in downtown NYC.
The event will be hosted by the legendary Wylie Dufresne, chef and owner of Du’s Donuts, and founder of the late WD-50, where he garnered praise for inspired culinary combinations, cutting-edge culinary techniques and innovative use of ingredients. This chef is anything but boring.
Yummy bites will be provided by Casa Pública’s Rob Truitt, Chinese Tuxedo’s Paul Donnelly, Clover Club’s Tom Macy, Kingsley’s Roxanne Spruance, Scarpetta’s Jorge Espinoza and more. Attendees will also get a chance to sample various wines, spirits, and other craft beverages. And of course, Wylie’s incredible donuts!
And yes, a DJ will provide music to munch and sip along to!
Tickets cost $95 for two full hours of noshing. A $175 VIP ticket will earn you an extra hour to stuff your face. It all takes place at the Museum of American Finance down on Wall Street this Thursday, November 16th, from 7 to 9 p.m. Head here for tickets.
