This past weekend is one that we look forward to each year: moving-in day for the freshman class at NYU–in this case, the class of 2018. (2018…I know, right? Two Thousand Eighteen. Can you believe it?)
Fresh-faced students arrive to the neighborhood with parents, siblings, favorite pillows and brand new winter jackets in tow. While the kids are settling into their new digs, many families camp here at the hotel. In many cases, we’ll continue to host those moms and dads intermittently for the next four years and get to know them and their kids.
We like to think of NYU students, parents and professors as our extended family and share in their excitement, hopes and dreams for the future.
So, welcome, Class of 2018! Knock ’em dead!
