The streets of New York City will be filled with even more music than usual from October 13th through October 17th when the CMJ Music Marathon comes to town. This festival has been introducing us to new music for the past 35 years.
CMJ will host five nonstop days and nights of live performances in over 70 of our city’s greatest venues, and will present four days of conference events with renowned speakers on the latest technology, radio promotion, entertainment business law, international marketing, and more.
Some of the most anticipated performances will be from Panda Bear, Tobias Jesso Jr. Smallpools, Titus Andronicus, BORNS, Catfish & Bottlemen, The Wonder Years and Neon Indian. (Don’t you just love band names?)
There are several badge options. The Show Pass ($149) allows acccess to all the nighttime showcases, plus a registration gift bag and a commemorative festival guide. With the General Badge ($549), attendees can also attend all the daytime seminars plus exclusive parties.
But you may be able to purchase tickets for a single showcase. Just contact the venue hosting the show you’re interested in seeing and ask. Get more info and tickets here.
