The winter season begins with an all-Balanchine program of Serenade, Mozartiana, and Tchaikovsky Piano Concerto No. 2. Balanchine’s one-act revision of Swan Lake returns to the repertory this week as well, along with the choreographer’s Tchaikovsky Suite No. 3 and Allegro Brillante.
The seventh annual showcase presented by Gotham Arts Exchange features a wide range of great American companies, ranging from ballet to modern: Highlights include Armitage Gone! Dance, Aspen Santa Fe Ballet, Ballet Memphis, Momix, Aszure Barton & Artists, and Keigwin + Company.
