We have festivals of all stripes here in the city. We celebrate every culture, each gender and sexual orientation, any political bent and every creed. This Saturday (the 28th), the city will be celebrating the 13th Annual Pagan Pride Day right here in Washington Square Park.
The event runs from 11 a.m.through 5 p.m. and is for all ages. There will be music, workshops and belly dancers, plus vendors will be hawking candles, incense cialis no prescription clothing and jewelry.
According to the website: “New York City Pagan Pride is affiliated with the Pagan Pride Project, a global organization whose mission is to eliminate prejudice and discrimination against Pagan religions and to foster pride in Pagan identity through education, activism, charity and community.”
The group will be collecting money for charity–City Harvest and pet food drive. (They’ve collected about 300 pounds of food in the past and hope to hit 500 this year.)
We’re all about inclusiveness here at the hotel and will definitely check it out. After the festival, drop by and see us at North Square for a cocktail and a nosh!
